  • WHY TALLYWHACKER RACING? - We know Tally Whacker is a slang term. Do YOU know what a Tally Whacker was originally? In the 1800's, cattle drovers clapped two hinged pieces of wood called a Tally Whacker to count out every 10 cows as they were herded through a gate at the end of a cattle drive. Here's a more modern version used by the US Forest Service between 1935 and 1950.

2018 was Tom's Rookie year in an IMCA Stock Car
We had 44 races at 9 tracks in 6 states in two different cars.  He had two Main Event Wins and was awarded Stock Car Rookie of the Year at Sweetwater Speedway, Diamond Mountain Speedway and Fairgrounds Speedway.
