WHY TALLYWHACKER RACING? - We know Tally Whacker is a slang term. Do YOU know what a Tally Whacker was originally? In the 1800's, cattle drovers clapped two hinged pieces of wood called a Tally Whacker to count out every 10 cows as they were herded through a gate at the end of a cattle drive. Here's a more modern version used by the US Forest Service between 1935 and 1950.
We count the miles to the tracks, the racers on the track, the fans in the stands and the days until the next race. That's what we're taking about!

We had 44 races at 9 tracks in 6 states in two different cars. He had two Main Event Wins and was awarded Stock Car Rookie of the Year at Sweetwater Speedway, Diamond Mountain Speedway and Fairgrounds Speedway.
